things have been good, really good.
sometimes i feel like this sums up my life.
it’s fantastic!
i’ll be honest, work gets extra boring somedays, ok everyday.
i started doing origami to keep me both entertained and alive.
and
then everybody and their dog decided to do the same, so we’ve got a
cool little club going, and folded shapes and animals all over the
place.
goal: fold 1,000 paper cranes this summer...it will be epic.
never say never.
no, this is not an i-love-the-biebs-let’s-listen-to-all-of-his-music-all-day comment.
just
don’t say never to things because you’ll end up doing them anyway
either by force or just because you realize how dull your life is and
how you need a leetle excitement in your life.
first hand experience, i said i would never put any color in my hair, ever.
then i considered it and got my hair done the ombre way.
ok.
ombre? apparently americans are more capable of pronouncing it than i
am. hello, french word, french person, correct pronunciation.
but no, it’s pronounced like “hombre” (spanish) yeah, no, i don’t want a man on my hair.
hair is done, i don’t usually blab about that stuff, but i’m happy about it. it looks good, real good.
that movie freaked me out when i was little. i’m over it, i promise.
we’ve been having a grand time getting home from work, making food, watching the food network, and going to bed.
nicki graced us with her presence one evening. always a pleasure!
i’ve
also taken the time to visit some peeps in provo because yes, people
grow up, and people are getting lives, and people are moving away.
fact: i have fabulous friends.
“oh, and by the way, since you’re working for us now, how about a free laptop?”
:] don’t mind if i do.
in less than a week i get my classroom! so beeeyyyooonnnnnddd excited to get going!!
this includes a key to my class, a key to the school, and yes, a laptop.
score.
once upon a time i lived in england. there was a fish 'n chip shop right down the street. we would go there every now and then and i remember maman getting potato wedges.
you see, she pronounced it potato wedgies.
so up until about a year ago that's what i thought they were.
potato wedgies.
NACHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
